Fire Up The Night
Since 2012, Fire up the Night has been lighting up the night skys over Cincinnati with amazing firework displays. Created and produced by Rozzi Fireworks in conjunction with Coney Island, it is the United States only international fireworks competition.
Heading into its 9th year, the event has played host to over 21 different display companies from around the world.
Every year 3 firework display companies are invited to design world class pyro-musicals which are displayed along the banks of Lake Como at Ohio’s famous Coney Island amusement park.
What are International Firework Festivals?
Firework festivals are a series of firework displays from different companies that compete to see who is the best. Bringing the best fireworks designers from around the world to compete against each other ensures that the host venue will experience some of the most amazing fireworks displays the world has to offer.
A typical fireworks festival will invite 3-8 companies from around the world to create a choreographed pyro-musical. Each display is judged on a specific list of criteria, such as:
– Musical selection and soundtrack quality
– Precise choreography of the fireworks with the music
– Diversity of colors and effects
– Design artistry and emotion
